Sat. Oct. 1st: Annual Alzheimer's Walk
NEW THIS YEAR ! National has introduced a new concept for the day of the walk called Promise Flowers. EVERY walker will get a promise flower and have the opportunity to write a message on it. These flowers will then be part of the opening ceremony. It's a very neat concept but will take a significant increase in our womanpower to accomplish it..........at least 30 of us including friends and family members. More details at the September 13th meeting and watch the Monday Morning Memos on line.
We will also join some of our collegians at First Watch in Corporate Woods for brunch after the walk.
October Meeting: Rainy Day Books
October will find us once again at Rainy Day Books in Fairway for our most popular fall meeting. Vivian Jennings will advise us on the current best sellers and her "picks" and "must reads". We are awaiting the exact date but the time will be 6pm. Read your Monday Morning Memo for the date and more details.
RSVP Terri Glander at tglander68700@everestkc.net to reserve your place. Seating is limited.
